Ghazial is a Town of District Chakwal (Mulhal Mughlan Union Council). Since 1947 Chakwal was a part of Jehlum District. In 1984 Chakwal became a district with four tehsil. The district is administratively subdivided into four tehsils, name of Tehsil 1.Chakwal Tehsil, 2.Kallar Kahar Tehsil, 3.Choa Saidan Shah Tehsil and 4.Talagang Tehsil. Ghazial is included in Chakwal tehsil (Mulhal Mughlan Union Council). |
This is situated on the West side of Jehlum border and North of Barnali and National Hunting hill Dil Jaba forest.This is a very beautiful and green land with 5000 population.Around this, there are many sub villages "Rehra, Ratta Mohra,Mehmood Mohra, Muhri, Potha". A hill named as khandda is situated Eastern side of Ghazial, the story tellers say that in past there was a city named as khandda presently it has totally vanished, the people of certain villages dig that place and find many things. According to old people many of them dug out gold. Some of them have found human bones. On North West side of Ghazial, there is a small Dam named as " Ghazial Miswal Dam".
